The
Beaudin promise

Norm
is the focal point of our Hockey Expertise. The fourth youngest
of 12 children, Norm and ALL of his brothers and sisters played
hockey on the ponds in Montmartre, Saskatchewan. A trip to
the Rural Sports Hall of Fame in Indian Head, just up the
road from Montmartre, on the outskirts of Regina chronicles
the many sporting, mostly hockey achievements of the Beaudin
Family. In 1955, the Beaudin Brothers were the best in the
West starring for the Montmartre Canadiens.

Norm,
at an early age, left the farm to pursue his hockey dreams
with the Regina Pats where he led the SJHL in goals (58 in
54 games) and was soon off to Montreal to start his professional
career. For over 20 seasons, Norm proved himself to be a potent
goal scorer, playmaker and leader, starring on pro teams in
Pittsburgh, Memphis, Buffalo, Cleveland, St. Louis, Minnesota
and Winnipeg. Sportwriters and spectators across North America
were quick to embrace Norm, his exciting style of play and
wherever he seemed to go, he was always on the top line, leading
the team in scoring and earning his reputation as a human
highlight reel.
